About Kaya

Writing has always been my quiet corner of the world, the place where I make sense of life, people, money, creativity, and the chaos we call “trying to be an adult.”

My Story

I’ve struggled with mindset blocks, doubted myself more times than I can count, and started over. I’ve learned lessons the hard way, the very hard way, and I’ve realized that sharing the mess is part of the purpose. I write because I can’t stop.

A candid, warm-toned photograph focusing on the hands of a person in a green knit sweater, writing with a teal fountain pen in a notebook. On the wooden desk are an antique typewriter, scattered papers, crumpled notes, and a coffee mug, with a packed bookshelf in the background.
A close-up profile view of a person in a green sweater looking at a corkboard. The board features a hand-drawn Venn diagram illustrating the intersection of "Creativity" and "Commerce" with a rollercoaster icon in the middle labeled "The Ride." Surrounding the diagram are sticky notes with handwritten phrases like "Build from Scratch," "Explore + Learn," and "Unfiltered Truth."

What I Love

I dissect the intersection of creativity and commerce, and usually find something messy in the middle. I created Kaya Heem because entrepreneurship happened, and I realized that building something from scratch, a business, a brand, a dream.

Or even just a version of yourself that feels real, is a rollercoaster with no seatbelts and no refund policy. This isn’t just a blog; it is a place where we learn together, explore creativity, and share life experiences and unfiltered truth about how our minds work.

My Mission, Vision, and Goals

I created this space because business content shouldn’t sound like preaching. It must be honest, direct, and digestible. My goal is simple: to help you think differently, feel less alone, and build a mindset that actually supports your goals.

I believe money conversations shouldn’t feel like a punishment, and that the mindset work should actually be relatable. I’m finally building a space where creativity and commerce can coexist without suffocating each other. I want to do it in a way that feels creative, entertaining, and real.
